1. Our service

Elite Preppers provides private, owner-led planning, sourcing, organization and setup of practical household preparedness systems. Services are intended for ordinary disruptions such as extended power outages, severe weather, supply interruptions, temporary loss of utilities or a rapid departure from home.

2. What may be included

Depending on the approved scope, recommendations may address water, shelf-stable food and cooking, a warm-core room, essential lighting and quiet power, sanitation and hygiene, first-aid and medication organization, communications, rapid departure, storage, labelling and a household guide.

We do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, emergency response, armed security, insurance, legal advice, engineering advice or regulated electrical, gas, fuel or construction work. Where regulated work is appropriate, it must be completed by a properly licensed and insured professional.

3. Assessment and proposal

The process generally begins with an enquiry and introductory call. If the service appears suitable, we may arrange a private home assessment. After the assessment, we provide a written proposal describing the recommended scope, professional service fee, estimated product budget, important assumptions and any exclusions.

No product purchasing or installation begins until the required proposal, approvals and payment arrangements are completed.

4. Pricing and product purchasing

Our model is designed to be transparent: approved products are sourced at documented cost, plus a fixed professional service fee agreed before purchasing begins. Taxes, delivery, third-party labour, permits and unusual travel may be additional where stated in the proposal.

Product availability and prices can change. If a material substitution or budget change is required, we will seek approval before proceeding whenever reasonably practical.

5. Deposits, cancellations, returns and warranties

The applicable proposal or service agreement will state deposit requirements, payment milestones, cancellation rights and any non-refundable or already-incurred costs. Product returns are subject to supplier policies, product condition, hygiene restrictions and whether an item was specially ordered or customized.

Manufacturer warranties generally remain subject to the manufacturer’s own terms. We may assist with reasonable warranty coordination, but we do not replace or extend a manufacturer’s warranty unless expressly stated in writing.

6. Scheduling, access and client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, safe and reasonable access to the property, timely decisions and approvals, and a suitable adult contact during appointments. Clients must disclose known property hazards or access restrictions that could affect the work.

Schedules are estimates and may be affected by product availability, weather, delivery conditions, third-party trades, illness, emergencies or events outside our reasonable control.

7. Safety and use of equipment

Clients are responsible for reading and following manufacturer instructions, observing expiry dates, maintaining equipment and complying with fire, building, fuel, electrical and other safety rules. Combustion appliances, generators and fuels must never be used or stored contrary to manufacturer instructions or applicable law. Outdoor-only equipment must never be operated indoors or in another enclosed space.

Household circumstances change. Any plan should be reviewed after changes in household members, health or mobility needs, the home, local risks, equipment or official guidance.

8. No guarantee of outcomes

Preparedness can reduce inconvenience and improve household organization, but no product, plan or service can guarantee safety, uninterrupted utilities, successful evacuation or survival in every event. Emergencies are unpredictable and may exceed the assumptions of any household plan.

9. Privacy and discretion

We aim to collect only the information reasonably needed for the service. We do not publish identifiable client names, home photographs or project details without permission. For more information, please read our Privacy Policy.
